ShopAdvizor presents its new shopping experience during the NRF 2019

ShopAdvizor's solution makes a very noticeable entrance on the New Yorker scene

ShopAdvizor, the startup that has been chosen between the top 100 to be exhibited in the WebSummit, was also chosen between the top 37 ones exhibiting at the international NRF show. This said, it was the one and only Spanish startup present and exhibiting at this 2019 edition of the New York Retail Big Show, the most recognized retail event in the world.

More than 800 global companies involved in the retail sector were presenting their newest solutions and technologies related to the shopping experience of tomorrow. The Startup Zone and the Innovation Lab were to two main point of interest of this event where international investors and consultants were showing and great interest.

One of the most visited booths of these areas were without a doubt the one of ShopAdvizor: the first collaborative community that interconnects consumers, retailers and brands, offering a new shopping experience while guaranteeing a double-digit sales increase. Walmart, Target, Tesco, E.Leclerc, Sonae, Oxxo, Lidl y Sobeys were few of the many big retailers interested in ShopAdvizor’s program.

A very recurrent subject we were able to hear around the event was the relation between this new shopping experience and the importance of ratings and reviews. These are indeed the evolution of the word to mouth we used to base our decisions on and that influenced our choices.

Due to the increased search for information in order to make better decisions, the consultation of ratings and reviews grew substantially in the last year, today 9 out of 10 consumers read a review. Moreover, the main factor motivating them to read these is the sincerity of the comments and / or the trust towards the website *.

ShopAdvizor, a permanent trustworthy brand among consumers

ShopAdvizor already has more than 1 million users that generated 12 millions ratings and reviews for more than 3,500 brands that participate in the community, in partnership with Carrefour. ShopAdvizor has additionally included the processing of nutritional information and product allergens to allow the consumer to make the most convenient choice in a simple way.

Diego Chorny, CEO & co-founder of ShopAdvizor commented: “We were very motivated to hear from the mouths of international retailers and manufacturers who see our community as a solution to enrich the omnichannel shopping experience and the relationship with their shoppers. The startup closed a very promising 2018, having launched the program in Uruguay and also participated in the Spain Tech Center immersion program in Silicon Valley, the WebSummit and the South Summit in Mexico.
